SolHandy Terms and Conditions


1. Introduction

These Terms govern your use of SolHandy Ltd. Co. (“SolHandy”), a platform connecting Clients with Freelancers for local services in Cagayan de Oro. By accessing SolHandy, you agree to these Terms.


2. Definitions

  • Client: User hiring services.

  • Freelancer: Verified service provider.

  • Task: A service requested/completed via SolHandy.


3. Account Requirements

Eligibility: 18+ years old, valid ID, and legal capacity.
Accuracy: Provide truthful info (no fake accounts).
🚫 No Sharing: Accounts are non-transferable.


4. Service Booking & Payments

For Clients:

  • Escrow System: Funds held securely until Task completion.

  • Cancellations:

    • Cancel >24hrs before = Full refund.

    • Cancel <24hrs before = Freelancer keeps 50%.

  • Disputes: Report within 48hrs of Task completion.

For Freelancers:

  • Service Standards: Deliver as described in the Task.

  • Fees: SolHandy retains 15% service fee.

  • Taxes: You’re responsible for income reporting.


5. Prohibited Conduct

🚫 No Off-Platform Payments (violation = account ban).
🚫 No Illegal/Dangerous Tasks (e.g., hacking, unlicensed electrical work).
🚫 No Discrimination (based on race, gender, religion, etc.).


6. Liability & Disclaimers

  • Freelancers Are Independent: SolHandy isn’t liable for their actions.

  • No Warranty: We don’t guarantee uninterrupted service.

  • Cap on Liability: SolHandy’s liability ≤ ₱5,000 per claim.


7. Termination

We may suspend accounts for:

  • Breaching these Terms.

  • Fraudulent activity.

  • Harming other users.


8. Governing Law & Disputes

  • Governed by Philippine law (RA 8792 – E-Commerce Act).

  • Disputes resolved via mediation in Cagayan de Oro → Court if unresolved.


9. Changes to Terms

Updates take effect 30 days after posting. Continued use = acceptance.


SolHandy Refund Policy

1. General Refund Rules

  • Freelancer Cancels: You get a full refund automatically.

  • You Cancel:

    • >24 hours before task: Full refund.

    • <24 hours before task: Freelancer keeps 50% of payment.

2. Unsatisfactory Work

  • Report issues within 48 hours of task completion.

  • SolHandy mediates:

    • Partial/full refund OR

    • Freelancer redoes the work.

3. Freelancer No-Shows

  • If the Freelancer doesn’t arrive:

    • 100% refund issued within 3 business days.

    • Bonus: We’ll help you book a replacement pro.

4. Non-Refundable Fees

  • Service fee (15%) is non-refundable unless the Freelancer cancels.

5. How to Request a Refund

  1. Go to Order Details“Request Refund”.

  2. Explain the issue (photos help!).

  3. We’ll respond within 24 hours.

Note: Refunds are processed to your original payment method in 3–10 business days.
